Karan Veer Mehra Biography: Karan Veer Mehra is a well-known Indian TV actor. He started his acting journey with the show Remix in 2005. He also played the main character in the Sony SAB TV series, Biwi aur Main. Besides television, he has acted in Bollywood films like Ragini MMS 2, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Blood Money, Badmashiyaan, and Amen. Karan won the reality shows Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Bigg Boss 18.

 

Karan has also supported a campaign for Road Safety Awareness with Diageo.

Karan Veer Mehra Early Life and Education

 

Karan was born in Delhi and went to a boarding school in Mussoorie called Wynberg Allen School until the 10th grade. After that, he continued his studies in Delhi, finishing 11th and 12th at Delhi Public School (DPS). He graduated in Advertising & Sales Promotion from Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, which is part of Delhi University.

 

He added “Veer” to his name because of his grandmother’s wish. “Veer” was the name of Karan’s late grandfather.

Recently, Karan appeared in a web series called It’s Not That Simple (2018) as “Jayesh,” which aired on Voot and featured actors like Swara Bhaskar and Purab Kohli. He will also star as Ashwin in the web series Couple of Mistakes alongside Barkha Bisht Sengupta. In 2021, he played the role of Abhay, a suspicious husband, in the TV show Ziddi Dil Maane Na.

 

On January 19, 2025, he won Bigg Boss 18.

Bigg Boss 18 Winner

 

Karan Veer Mehra won the 18th season of the reality show Bigg Boss. At 46 years old, he received a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh after host Salman Khan announced him as the winner on the finale stage. Actor Vivian Dsena was the first runner-up, and YouTuber Rajat Dalal came in second.

 

Before the show, Karan was also voted as the favorite by fans in a social media poll by India Today. He joined the show as one of the 13 contestants in October of the previous year and spent over three months in the Bigg Boss 18 house.
